I'm Shavaun Johnson, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and founder of Light at the End. I provide personalized psychiatric care with an emphasis on creating a space where patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment.
My approach goes beyond simply prescribing medication. I take time to understand your symptoms, treatment history, concerns, and goals so that we can make thoughtful decisions about your care together. Treatment may include medication management, education, lifestyle recommendations, supportive interventions, and collaboration with other members of your healthcare team when appropriate.
Throughout my career, I have worked with adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and trauma-related symptoms. These experiences have shaped my belief that psychiatric treatment should never feel one-size-fits-all.
At Light at the End, my goal is simple: to provide accessible, evidence-based psychiatric care while building a treatment plan that makes sense for you and your life.
